Empresa de Postproducción esta en busqueda de un Editor multimedia.<br>Es sumamente importante que el Editor sepa Ingles.<br><br>Trabajo de Lunes a Viernes.<br><br><b>Descripcion del cargo:</b><br><br><span>The Editor shall be responsible for receiving, backing up and editing all media files sent by the team. <br>The Editor shall work closely with the Director, Producer and Art Director and will be supported by the team as well. <br>The Editor shall integrate the film with any and all dialogue, sound effects, visual effects and music to create the final Project. <br>The Editor shall devote his full working hours to the editing project until the Project is approved by the client and director, knowing ‘director cut’ will be requested sometimes. It is expected for the first couple of years that the Editor shall not take on any other outside projects with other clients or entities which will lower his creative output and cause him to lose focus or that in any manner interfere with his full attention and commitment to El Marisco. <br>It is also essential that this role brings El Marisco, relevant skills and up-to-date industry knowledge and know-how. <br></span><span><br><b>ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES</b><ul><li>Having weekly production meetings with producers.</li><li>Keeping and Maintaining neat and organized order of the media files.</li><li>Constantly updating data in external hard drives and Gdrive.</li><li>Manipulating and editing film pieces in a way that is invisible to the audience.</li><li>Taking and requesting a creative brief, reference or meeting to grasp the client and production team’s needs and specifications for editing.</li><li>Reviewing shooting script and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scenes’ value and contribution to continuity.</li><li>Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film.</li><li>Input music, dialogues, graphics and effects.</li><li>Create rough and final cuts, xmls, and all needs key to the role of an editor. </li><li>Work and understand grade, Flame, Nuke, After Effects file sharing for project final rendering. </li><li>Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running.</li><li>Receive, upload on Vimeo, Telegram, etc. and give constructive feedback on Color grading when requested. (photos or video)</li><li>Always try to work with references, visual, photographic or other materials to ilustrate ideas in a more practical way. </li><li>Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency. </li><li>Work with in-house team to problem solve and find new solutions to the traditional way of filmmaking</li><li>Enhance El Marisco’s creative vision by scouting and presenting the work of new talents (such as directors, editors, producers) to inspire future work and collaborations.</li><li>Proactively help the team work more efficiently and at increasingly higher levels.
